Small Business... cute, unique and delicious!!!

My husband and I found this adorable little sandwich shop near Tawas City, we loved it the moment we stepped in and ate their food.  The people who own this shop are extremely friendly and graciously allowed me to photograph their cute this place while we were waiting for our food.  Everything is delicious there, so if you ever are on the east side of Michigan and near Tawas City - I would highly suggest Reed's on the River.

Here are a few pictures of this adorable place - this is what I love about small businesses you know that they personally take the time to make it perfect and cute.  When you turn around you find something else adorable and unique.....  Enjoy!

Photographing Food.... oh my!

I found out via Facebook that a young family was starting a catering business and I took the courageous step and contacted her offering to photograph her food for Facebook and her website.  She graciously is allowing me this opportunity and I'm very excited to connect with and photograph her delicious food.

So stay tuned - the next few weeks are going to have some pictures of very yummy food, but meanwhile - check out this young business (I love to cook- so this looks like so much fun) :)

Details... sometimes speak volumes

I recently photographed a pillow on a couch; though something that looks and seams so simple - I feel it speaks volumes.... inviting you to relax, read a book, watch a movie, enjoy a cup of tea and true comfort!!!

Huron House - Oscoda, Michigan

My husband and I are super excited to be visiting the Huron House again.  We found this wonderful Bed and Breakfast while we lived on the east side of the state and loved it.  Perfect for any couple and a great place to relax, plus just beautiful being on Lake Huron.

I decided to create a very simple website in case anyone desired to read more information about photoraphing Bed and Breakfasts and Inns.... this is a new little passion of mine and who knows where it will go but I'm excited anyways :)

Timeless Places

I admit, I've been busy just at my normal job that I haven't taken the time or effort to focus in on my photography, but every once in a while I am reminded how much I love doing photography.  I guess you could say today was one of those days....
